A full prepayment for spare parts is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Previously, advance payment was only required for spare parts costing more than 50 euros. Due to the increasing number of requests for repairs, we have decided that the full price of the part will be charged before it is ordered.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>2. The maximum time for repair is 3 months from the date of order.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Long turnaround times may be due to complicated deliveries of components for repair (e.g. batteries, electromagnetic components etc.). These types of components cannot be transported on board aircraft.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>3. Minimum cost for repair is 30 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Previously a minimum repair cost of 20 EUR.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>4. Diagnostic fees are \u20ac20 to \u20ac50 but are no longer included in the cost of repairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Diagnostics often takes hours and sometimes days. Even to understand the cost-effectiveness of a repair or complete failure of a device, it takes one to two days to understand the logic behind the different parts of that device.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>5. An additional charge may be incurred for cleaning the equipment prior to repair.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Units come in for repair in a very dirty condition and have to be cleaned of dirt and dust first in order to diagnose a fault. Previously, we did not charge for this service.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>6.
